Members of the local Japanese community tour an MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 1st Marine Aircraft Wing currently assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, during a static display event held during exercise Forest Light Western Army at Camp Takayubaru, Kumamoto, Japan, Jan. 21, 2020. The exercise consists of field training events including basic infantry skills, vertical assaults integrated with MV-22B Osprey flight operations, and combined-arms – enhancing the collective defense capabilities of the U.S.-Japanese alliance.
