The Intermediate Maintenance Activity lot at Forward Operating Base Edinburgh provides expedient repairs to many battle damaged vehicles in support of 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 5. In addition to repairing vehicles, the detachment of Marines at the IMA lot provide assistance with the movement of heavy equipment and repairs to items like refrigeration units, generators and personal air conditioning units.
