This #FortRileyFriday we continue our look at buildings that originally served to support activities on the old Artillery Post.
Building 385 Carr Avenue was built in 1903. It was originally designated as a Gun Shed. It was made with #limestone walls and foundation, with a brick floor and a slate roof.
Directorate of Public Works (DPW) maintenance documents show that by 1930 building 385 was still designated as a Gun Shed.
Today, 385 Carr Ave. is home to the 2nd Detachment, 346th Military Police Company, part of the U.S. Army Reserve.
