200122-N-WR252-2018 SANTA RITA, Guam (Jan. 22, 2020) Equipment Operator 3rd Class Tyler Dowling, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, measures a component of the asphalt batch plant during set up preparations. The Seabees are performing rigorous training and testing on the equipment to ensure it meets all operational and environmental requirements. NMCB 5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
