Sgt. Sadat Allhassan, representing U.S. Army Central, programs his coordinates into his plugger during the day land navigation test Oct. 3, at Fort Lee, Va. Allhassan and 11 other non-commissioned officers are competing for the title of Department of the Army Best Warrior. The 12 NCOs and an additional 12 Soldiers will spend this week at Fort Lee competing in events such as the board, weapons and warrior tasks. The winners will be announced at a ceremony, Oct. 8, in the District of Columbia. Allhassan is assigned as a motor transport operator for the 1st Theater Sustainment Command located at Fort Bragg, N.C. He and his unit are currently deployed to Kuwait. He hails from Bronx, N.Y., but grew up in Ghana.
