GULF OF ADEN (Dec. 31, 2019) Aviation Structural Mechanic 2nd Class Robinson Prieto reattaches flight control cables following a reinstallation of a flight control pulley inside of an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the “Proud Warriors” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 72, aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60). Normandy is part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
