JEBEL ALI, United Arab Emirates (Dec. 24, 2019) Seaman Apprentice Ricardo Sidwell puts a round turn on a bollard with a mooring line as the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) moors in Jebel Ali, United Arab Emirates for a scheduled port visit. The Normandy is part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is operating in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
