200115-N-GR168-1256 GULF OF AQABA (Jan. 15, 2020) A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC), assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, prepares to enter the well deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21). New York and the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is conducting bilateral training in Jordan in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
