Jessie Mauldin, 673d Logistics Readiness Squadron heavy mobile equipment mechanic, evaluates the new connection between a fall-protection safety harness tether and a deicing truck at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Jan. 22, 2019. The modification involves strategically attaching four eyelets to the top of each truck so mechanics can attach a mobile safety harness. Mauldin has taken steps to push his innovation to all heavy mobile equipment maintenance shops Air Force-wide.
