200116-N-MD802-1033 GULF OF OMAN (Jan. 16, 2020) Sonar Technician (Surface) 2nd Class Brandon Caballero and Lt. j.g. Brooks White, the anti-submarine warfare officer on the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99), pose for a photo during Caballero’s reenlistment ceremony on the aft-missile deck. Farragut is part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
