Coast Guard rescue crews practiced ice rescue retrieval techniques for ice rescue training on Jan. 21, 2020 at Station Burlington in Burlington, Vermont. During this portion of the training, a member would swim out to the ice shelf to retrieve another member and be pulled back to the cutter via a rescue line.
