U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Dan Gervais, an explosive ordnance disposal specialist in the 332nd EOD Flight, ties cord to a cylinder with suspected explosives inside buried near a dirt road in the town of Sheik Jamil, Iraq, Sept. 29. The cylinder was pulled from the dirt from a safe distance. A rifle with suspicious, unusual rounds was found inside.
