ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 28, 2020) A Sailor assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, fuels an F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, during flight operations. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
