SAN DIEGO (Jan. 27, 2020) Rear Adm. Tim Weber, Naval Medical Forces (NMF) Pacific Commander and director, Medical Service Corps, holds an all hands call during his first official visit at Naval Medical Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego, which is collocated onboard Naval Medical Center San Diego, Jan. 27. During his visit, Weber toured several spaces to include Labor and Delivery, Pediatric Infant Critical Unit (PICU), Bioskills and Simulation Training Center and Sterilization Processing Department (SPD). NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research. NMRTC employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors from NMRTC San Diego to provide patients with world-class care
