U.S. Marines with 3D Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5 board an MV-22B Osprey from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365, 3D Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward) to be inserted in southwestern Helmand province, Afghanistan to execute Operation Halberd IV on June 1, 2012. Operation Halberd was executed to disrupt the transportation of illicit narcotics throughout Afghanistan.
