A video plays at the at a ribbon cutting ceremony aboard Townsend Bombing Range, the East Coast’s premier air-to-ground bombing range, to commemorate its expansion and modernization, Jan 29. The video explained the range’s 17-year expansion and modernization. It expanded from 5,183 acres to 33,834 acres which now allows pilots and air crews to train with precision guided munitions.
