Marines with Marine Air Control Squadron 4 watch as a KC-130 conduct a mock landing over a makeshift runway for their Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation (MCCRE) on Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 24, 2020. The purpose of the MCCRE is to evaluate the units efficiency on creating a fully operational runway, suitable for landing a KC-130, along with creating a landing zone for helicopters.
