ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 31, 2020) The Honorable Thomas Modly, acting Secretary of the Navy, and Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) Louis Mountain, from Seat Pleasant, Maryland, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, answer interview questions during a media event on Ford’s flight deck. Modly embarked Ford after the ship successfully completed Aircraft Compatibility Testing to discuss Ford’s progress and to see the ship operate at sea.
