Hawaii Air National Guard and active duty F-22 Raptor crew chiefs speak as an F-16 Fighting Falcon approaches for a landing Jan. 30, 2020, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The F-16 is assigned to the 18th Aggressor Squadron in Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, and its mission is to prepare pilots for victory by simulating combat tactics which are likely to be faced in the event of an air-to-air battle. Each training mission of Pacific Raptor is carried out by a total-force team of Airmen from the Air Force’s Active, Reserve and Air National Guard components.
