Tradewinds is a CJCS-approved, USSOUTHCOM-sponsored exercise supporting the Theater Security Cooperation plan, and involving security forces from 17 partner nations, primarily from the Caribbean Basin area of responsibility and will also include participants from Canada and the U.S.
