Airmen from the 11th Security Forces Group recover after being sprayed with Oleoresin Capsicum, June 14, 2012, at Joint Base Andrews, Md. Security forces airmen are exposed to OC spray prior to being certified to carry it so they are aware of its affects on the suspect and themselves. OC spray is an extremely effective less than lethal tool that can be utilized to quell a situation without having to otherwise resort to lethal force.
