Lt. Col. Jeff Ragusa, 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron chief pilot, looks back at a reporter during an atmospheric river mission Jan. 28, over the Pacific Ocean. The Hurricane Hunters are slated to perform “AR recon” from January through March.
