LARISSA AIRFIELD, Greece (Jan. 31, 2020) U.S. Marines with 2nd Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 252 and Greek Marines with 32nd Marine Brigade, 1st Division unload gear off a KC-130 Hercules during Exercise Alexander the Great 2020 at Larissa Airfield, Greece, Jan. 31, 2020. This exercise conducts integrated battalion-level command and control and company/platoon-level combined arms training to increase interoperability between the U.S. Marine Corps, and Hellenic and French Armed Forces, reassure Allied and Partner Nations, improve readiness, reinforce relations, and improve the ability to deploy alongside partnered forces.
