Sailors assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 and Royal Malaysian Navy divers bring up a U.S. Navy diver from the Military Sealift Command rescue and salvage ship USNS Safeguard (T-ARS 50) during a wreck and salvage training event as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Malaysia 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
