Martin Isaak, a facilities supervisor with Kellog, Brown, and Root (KBR) is discussing the process of signing for the land with Tomasz Fortuniak, host nation support specialist with 43rd Garrison Support Unit. This marks the beginning of building a permanent fence around logistical support area (LSA) two on base camp Karliki. The permanent fence will provide better force protection and better physical security for the troops serving in Karliki. Karliki is one of the five base camps assigned to Zagan cluster, and 11 throughout the country of Poland. The camps are owned by the Polish government, but the duty of running their daily operations was assigned to the 652nd, an Army Reserve unit from Helena, Montana.
