GROTON, Conn. (Jan. 31, 2020) – Master Chief Petty Officer William McLellan, department master chief, Naval Submarine School (SUBSCOL), left, presents Capt. Jack Houdeshell with the Rear Adm. Richard O’Kane cribbage board, during the SUBSCOL change of command ceremonies on Submarine Base New London, Jan. 31. In keeping with Navy tradition, the historic cribbage board passed to the longest-serving submarine in the Atlantic Fleet. SUBSCOL builds a foundation upon which officers and enlisted personnel are prepared to develop the competence and proficiency in skills necessary to operate and maintain their submarines.
