U.S. Army Soldiers, assigned to the 529th Military Police Company, 709th Military Police Battalion, conduct live-fire training with M249, M240B, M2 Browning .50 Caliber machine guns and MK19 grenade launcher on Range 1A of the Baumholder Maneuver Training Area, Germany, Feb. 6, 2020. The 709th Military Police Battalion provides community law enforcement and force protection within 13 communities while training for future operations and contingencies in support of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command. In addition to providing law enforcement across Europe, the battalion also supports Atlantic Resolve including Saber Guardian 2017, Saber Strike 2018 and other exercises throughout the theater.
