(Feb. 7, 2020) Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London Security Forces make their way down a hallway in Triton Hall barracks during an active shooter drill onboard SUBASE New London for Exercise Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain 2020, which is a two-part force protection exercise that is being conducted nationwide on Navy installations, Feb. 3-14. The annual exercise is not in response to any specific threat, but is used to evaluate the readiness of the fleet and installation security programs.
