Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sailors aboard USS Makin Island and guests watch as marines with Company I decends from a CH-46E Sea Knight aboard the ship here June 19. The unit embarked the ship, as wells as USS New Orleans and USS Pearl Harbor in San Diego Nov. 14 beginning a seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific, Horn of Africa and Middle East regions.
