LEGO mini-figures are cleverly posed in the gallery of the Hampton Roads Naval Museum with a LEGO ship model of a Fletcher-Class Destroyer in preparation for the 9th Annual LEGO Brick by Brick Shipbuilding Event. The free event is hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum at the Decker Half Moone Cruise Center in downtown Norfolk. The event is the largest free single day LEGO event in the Hampton Roads, Virginia region. It was held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020; over 130 active duty U.S. Navy sailors volunteered during the event contributing over 1,600 volunteer hours which provided for a unique COMREL opportunity. This year event brought in a crowd of 5,056 visitors to both floors of the cruise terminal. (US Navy Photo by Max Lonzanida/Released).
