U.S. Army Capt. Vanessa Sieg, emergency physician, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center discusses Army Medicine career opportunities with prehealth students during the Baylor Prehealth Symposium in Waco, Texas Feb. 15. During the symposium, the 5th Medical Recruiting Battalion displayed a mobile operating room used by U.S. Army Forward Resuscitative and Surgical Teams to showcase Army Medicine capabilities. The 5th Medical Recruiting Battalion is committed to recruiting high-quality health care professionals across ten states in the nation’s central region to serve as U.S. Army officers in the Army Medical Department, or to serve as chaplains in the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps.
