GULF OF OMAN (Feb. 11, 2020) - Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) Fireman Juan Enriquez earned his enlisted surface warfare device and was pinned by Gas Turbine System Technician (Electrical) 1st Class Bryan Luizzi during an all hands call aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64), Feb. 11, 2020. Carney, deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
