The 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group renders their initial salute to U.S. Air Force Col. Dave Wiesner at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., May 1, 2012. This gesture of passing the guidon from the outgoing to incoming commander is performed in front of the unit so that all can witness their leader assuming his dutiful position.
