Sgt. Kevin Hanson, digs in a field looking for UXOs at the Tarmiyah Poultry Farm near Balad Iraq, May 13. Hanson is one of eight combat engineers from 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, who had been tasked to assess from May 10 to 14 how many UXO were still buried in the fields and dispose of as much as possible. As of May 13 more than 2,000 57mm and larger rounds had been destoyed.
