200214-N-CD254-1881 DILI, Timor-Leste (Feb. 14, 2020) Construction Mechanic 3rd Class D'Angelo Castile, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Timor-Leste, uses a wet block saw to cut blocks for the three-room schoolhouse project. U.S. Navy Seabees are constructing a school and STEM Laboratory in support of Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Education. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
