Chris Gwinn and Gregg Goodell, both Park Rangers at Gettysburg National Military Park receive a welcome and orientation to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum from Laura Orr, the museum’s Director of Education. Both Rangers visited the museum to see the new exhibit about the U.S. Navy’s role during the Vietnam War and other interpretive exhibits following their historical presentation aboard the Ticonderoga-Class Guided Missile Cruiser USS Gettysburg (CG-64). During their visit, the pair also met with Lieutenant Jeffrey Bortz, the Navigator aboard the Gettysburg, who was able to provide some insights into surface navy and naval gunfire support operations.
