    200216-M-MV109-1109 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 16, 2020) A Marine assigned to Echo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conducts a radio check after setting up communication equipment during a surface Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel training event in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 16, 2020. The 26th MEU is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
