Bill Merz displays a command seal of the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Centre that was gifted by Rear Adm. Apichai Sompolgrunk, director general, Office of Maritime Security Affairs during a tour of the Royal Thai Navy’s Head Quarters in Thailand. As the U.S. Navy’s largest numbered fleet, 7th Fleet interacts with 35 other maritime nations to build maritime partnerships that foster maritime security, promote stability and prevent conflict.
