Soldiers from Delta Company, 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry Regiment, Oregon Army National Guard conduct crowd and riot-control (CRC) training during exercise Jungleer Enterprise, Feb. 26, 2020, at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. CRC training teaches Soldiers methods of controlling hostile crowds in the midst of a riot. Civilian actors instigated a riot while observation Soldiers in reflective vests ensured that 2-162 Soldiers were performing the CRC methods correctly. CRC training helps to prepare the 2-162 Soldiers for their upcoming mission in Kosovo, which is to provide support to local Kosovo authorities in the event any security situation deteriorates, and will ensure a safe and secure environment for all the citizens in Kosovo.
