Matthew Attaway, a combat medic assigned to 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery Regiment, 75th Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, Okla., feeds a horse assigned to the Fort Sill Artillery Half-Section February 26, 2020. On the night of January 25, 2020, Attaway responded to the cries of help that followed a shooting just outside of his apartment in Lawton, Okla.
