200219-N-QR336-2317 NARRA, Palawan (Feb. 19, 2020) Marcial Alili (left), Malatgao Elementary School principal, and U.S. Navy Lt. Joshua Moore, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, exchange the signed beneficial occupancy date letter, officially turning over the school to the principal of Malatgao Elementary School. The schoolhouse project was a joint effort between U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 and service members from the Armed Forces of Philippines. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
