YOKOSUKA, Japan (Feb. 28, 2020) – Army Pvt. Zaquis Freeman and Army Pfc. Antonio Gonzales, assigned to the 88th Military Police detachment in Camp Zama, attempt to apprehend a simulated active resistor during the inaugural Guardians Challenge Competition, a joint force competition to test the capability and skills of U.S. Forces Japan military police held onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), Feb. 28. For 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
