Soldiers with the Albanian Armed Forces participate in a patrol training exercise, Feb. 2, 2020, at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. The exercise mimicked the patrols that occur in the northern Kosovo boundary area where Kosovo Police and NATO partner nations jointly patrol and search for smuggling or security violations. The AAF, in partnership with U.S. Army units and other NATO allies and partners, are conducting various training exercises with Kosovo Force 27 personnel ahead of their upcoming mission. The NATO-led KFOR 27 will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment, and freedom of movement for all citizens of Kosovo. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Spc. Miguel Ruiz)
