A U.S. Soldier from 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company 2-35, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division prepares to fire a M249 downrange during the live fire exercise March 1, 2020 at Camp Bahn Dan Lan Hoi. The exercise was conducted in preparation for the Cobra Gold 2020 CALFEX on March 6, 2020. Exercise Cobra Gold 20, in its 39 iteration, is designed to advance regional security and ensure effective responses to regional crises by bringing together multinational forces to address shared goals and security commitments in the Indo-Pacific region.
