Builder 2nd Class Charles Hannah shows Capt. James Morgan, Pacific Partnership 2012 mission commander, the construction progress of a new schoolhouse during an engineering civil action project as part of Pacific Partnership 2012. Engineering civil action projects are designed to build and renovate buildings such as schools, clinics and other public facilities. Now in its seventh year, Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission U.S. military, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies designed to build stronger relationships and disaster response capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
