NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (March 6, 2020) Builder Constructionman Apprentice Kyra Griffin, from Fredericksburg, Va., and Construction Electrician 1st Class Jimmy Telan, from Bakersfield, Calif., cut the cake as Lt. Ryan White, NSA Souda Bay Public Works officer, observes during the Seabee Ball at the Lido Royal Event Hall, Souda, Greece, March 6, 2020. It is a Navy tradition that the birthday cake is cut by the youngest and oldest Sailors present at the event which represents the passing of knowledge and experience from one generation to the next. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
