ARABIAN GULF (March 9, 2020) From left to right, the coastal patrol ship USS Sirocco (PC 6), a Mark VI boat attached to Commander, Task Force 56, coastal patrol ship USS Monsoon (PC 4), and Coast Guard patrol boat USCGC Baranof (WPB 1318) participate in a photo exercise after completing a joint underway in the Arabian Gulf, March 9. This event highlights one of many core competencies that the Coastal Riverine Force provides in support of U.S. 5th Fleet operations. CTF 56 is responsible for the planning and execution of expeditionary missions including coastal riverine operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
