Jeffery Gay, veteran of the 261st Signal Corps, 1967-1968 and member of a Hopi-Navajo tribe, performs tribal ritual movements, during the third-annual Gourd Dance ceremony here, June 23. The Gourd Dance is a Native American ceremony to honor the warriors of past and present. It is held here to commemorate the rich history between the military and the local tribes.
