Bradley Olson, superintendent of the fuels management flight for Bomber Task Force Europe from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, guides a team as they load equipment into a C-17 Globemaster efore leaving Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, on March 13, 2020. Logistical support such as this ensures the Airmen and equipment deployed in support of BTF Europe are safe and secure as they travel from one location to the next to support their B-2 Spirit fleet. Olson and his Wingmen from the 509th and 131st Bomb Wings deployed in support of BTF Europe, which is a U.S. Strategic Command routine operation used to demonstrate U.S. commitment to collective defense as these aircraft, Airmen and key support equipment integrate with Geographic Combatant Command operations and activities.
