CARIBBEAN SEA (March 23, 2020) Sailors remove chocks and chains from an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the "Sea Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 22,as it prepares to launch from the flight deck of the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Detroit (LCS 7). During the deployment to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility, Detroit, with embarked helicopter and USCG law enforcement detachment, will support Joint Interagency Task Force South's mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
